VELAMAR opened as a sailing school in 2005. We started with two sailing boats and now we have four. Our boats are sloops between 6,5 and 8,5 metres long.
We are situated in north of Portugal. Our goal is to teach cruiser sailing and we are convinced that our success is proved by the quantity of our students that today have they own sailing boat.
Together with Velamar, we have another company, named “Four Feelings, Lda”for renting sailing boats to students who cannot buy their own sailing boat. This allows us to not only teach sailing, but offer to our students all facilities to sail when they want.
We provide high quality sailing courses and our approach to teaching which combines work and pleasure at same time, makes sure that our students enjoy their time at Velamar. |
