PSS has operated sucessfully teaching adults sailing for 25 years. PSS operates from the premier club , the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (host of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race) 5 minutes from the centre of this wonderful city - Sydney.
The excellent climate allows the school to operate all year; it conducts around 2,000 courses from beginners to Yachtmasters, and includes the Safety and Sea Survival course for offshore races.
The school regularly organizes sailing holidays to exotic locations worldwide including the Whitsunday's, Tonga, New Calidonia. The majority of PSS students end up crewing on yacht club members yachts through the school's unique (to Australia) PSS crew Website. |

“Close your eyes, feel the wind." This concept helped many of our students learn to sail on Sydney Harbour where the school is based, right to anywhere or around the world where many have been. By understanding that sailing is about harmony between the sea and people, students learn to respect the sea, hence to function efficiently in a safe environment. This philosophy helped the school develop successfully with a strong individuality.
We teach all levels from beginners to celestial navigation and marine meteorology, running comprehensive courses and workshops all year long. Workshops cover a wide range of topics. We conduct training onboard but we also have shore-based training facilities. Our team includes experts in a number of relevant maritime fields, and also marine biologists and ecologists to help students understand the environment.
Sailing is an experience! Sailing with Attitude focuses on sailing knowledge, self-sufficiency as well as in self-development. |
