The Irish Sailing Association is the National Governing Body for sailing, windsurfing and powerboating in Ireland. It represents over 20,000 members in 120 affiliated clubs and sailing schools spread throughout Ireland.
The ISA's principal aims are:
1) To strengthen the foundations of the sport within Ireland.
2) To increase participation in the sport at all levels.
3) To improve the performance of sailors at National & International level.
4) To implement the ISA's Strategic plan.
